Today we are presenting #88 of the top 100 countdown!And the song is...New Attitude by American soul-singer, actress, and song-writer Patti LaBelle. Patti LaBelle started out her singing career back in the 1960's in two bands. First she was in Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles, and had a few minor sucesses, and then LaBelle which received acclaim for their big-time hit in 1974 titled "Lady Marmalade." She continued on later with a solo career and had a #1 hit song duet with Michael McDonald in 1986 called "On My Own." "New Attitude," was featured on the 1984 Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack, where it reached the Pop Top 20. Listen to the song, and you'll hear why it's my #88!
