Under Neon Movie Reviews: 'Holiday' (1938)

Movie: Holiday
Year: 1938
My Rating: 7.2/10 Stars *******'
Another classic for sure, Cary Grant plays an ordinary guy who has fallen in love with a very wealthy girl. In the process of meeting the family he finds himself being shaken down by the father as to whether he is worthy of his daughter and of course the suspicion that comes when one courts outside of their caste. He also happens to fall in love with the other sister in the process (K. Hepburn). Check it out, like I said, a classic.

Brief Review for 'The Lady Vanishes' (1938)

The Lady Vanishes (1938)
4/5 Stars ****
An interesting Hitchcock flick from 1938 during a dark time in Europe. An interesting group of Brits, Italians, and an American woman take a ride on a train when one of their party strangely disappears. This movie has one or two continuity issues, but other than that it is quite entertaining. Naturally it is done in the Classic Hitchcock style, and is also funny (and Margaret Lockwood was quite a looker). Check this one out!
