The Weekly Song Post: 'All The Things You Say Are Wrong' by Bloods (2012)

This week's song post goes to Australian indie-punk band Bloods, and their single All The Things You Say Are Wrong. Bloods are a 3-piece Sydney-based punk-rock band who formed in March 2011 and consists of members MC (on vocals and guitar),  Sweetie (bass guitar and vocals), and Dirk (on drums and vocals). All The Things You Say Are Wrong is a recent single by the group and it was released on January 23, 2012. Your Weekly Music Post: 'Magic' by Panama (2012)

Welcome back to another weekly music post! This week I present to you Australian electronica band Panama, and their hot new single Magic. Panama are a Sydney-based 4-piece electronica-pop group consisting of members Jarrah McCleary (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Cam Edwards (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals), Trevor Davies (guitar, percussion, vocals), and Lachlan West (drums, vocals). They have that great electronic sound filled with delightful blips and beeps that we all love, and if you like other electro-bands like Strange Talk or Miami Horror you will dig Panama. The Track of the Week: 'Endless Summer' by The Jezabels (2011)

This week's track is Endless Summer, by Sydney-based Australian indie-pop-rock group The Jezabels. The band formed originally back in 2007 where the members met at University and started up the group, which consists of Hayley Mary (vocals), Heather Shannon (piano/keyboard), Nik Kaloper (drums), and Samuel Lockwood (bass guitar). Endless Summer is a track off of the groups latest album Prisoner, which was released on November 8th, 2011. Your Song of the Week: 'Brother' by Matt Corby (2011)

I've been slow about the posts I know, especially the song posts, but thems the breaks. The latest song post goes to Australian singer/song-writer Matt Corby and his hit song Brother. Matt Corby originates out of Sydney, Australia and has been active in mainstream music circa 2007. Brother comes off of his latest studio album Into the Flame, which was released on November 11, 2011 and the song actually hit #3 on the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2011. Song of the Day: 'Act Yr Age' by Bluejuice (2011)

Today's feature song is Act Yr Age, by Australian indie/funk rock band Bluejuice. Bluejuice are based out of Sydney, Australia who have been in the Australian music spotlight since around 2007 and consists of members Jake Stone, Stavros Yiannoukas, Jamie Cibej, Jerry Craib and James Hauptmann. Act Yr Age is a new single that comes off their latest album, which is also their 3rd studio album and titled Company, set for release on October 28th, 2011. Song of The Day: 'Sunlight' by Bag Raiders (2010)

Today's featured song is Sunlight, by Australian house-duo Bag Raiders. Bag Raiders are a Sydney-based house/electronica duo from Sydney Australia consisting of DJs Chris Stracey and Jack Glass who have been active on the music scene circa 2007. Sunlight was a single off the duo's Sunlight EP, which was released in November of 2010 in Australia, and in March 2011 in the USA. Check out their website HERE for more info and music.

Your Daily Song: 'Ain't Hungry' by Lanie Lane (2011)

Today's song is...Ain't Hungry by Australian pop-roots-blues-jazz singer-guitarist-songwriter Lanie LaneLanie Lane comes out of Sydney, Australia, and her musical style fits into many genres all at once. This song was produced by Jack White, and if you listen to the song you can definitely tell his influence is there, and the article on that is HERE. The Last Days of House (Weekly): 'Pictures (Tonite Only Remix)' by Sneaky Sound System (2006)

This issue of The Last Days of House features Australian dance/house group Sneaky Sound System and their 2006 single Pictures (Tonite Only Remix). Now the house songs features in The  Last Days of House are you going to be all over the board, some new, some old, some really old, so expect that, and if you have known about these songs for years, great, and if not, brilliant! That said, Sneaky Sound System are a Sydney-based trio consisting of Black Angus (Angus McDonald) (songwriter, producer), Connie Mitchell  (vocalist and songwriter), and MC Double D (Daimon Downey) who actually left the group in 2009, but was still in it when this song was released. Pictures was released on the groups debut self-titled album Sneaky Sound System in 2006, and the Tonite Only Remix (featured here) can be found on the Pictures EP.  I highly recommend checking out their other tracks as well, and you can get more info on them and their music at their website found HERE.
