Feature Song Of The Day = 'Everywhere' by Tim and Jean (2011)
Today's Feature Song is Everywhere, by Australian indie-electro-pop duo Tim and Jean. Tim and Jean are Tim Ayre and Jean Capotorto who come out of Perth, Western Australia. They started up a MySpace page and ended up entering Triple J's Unearthed High School competition for unsigned bands, in which they made it to the finals with the song Come Around. They were later then selected to by that radio station to play at the Parklife Festival. Everywhere is actually a cover single-release by Tim and Jean of the original Fleetwood Mac song. It doesn't appear on their April-2011 release debut album titled Like What, but you can find it at their Unearthed page HERE. If you like what you hear you can surely go check out their MySpace page HERE for more songs and band info. Like What

The song for today is....The Eagle, by Australian electro-noir band Grafton Primary. Grafton Primary are an electro-duo consisting of brothers Benjamin Garden (keyboards/synth) and Joshua Garden (vocals) along with an occasional drummer or bass-guitarist for live shows only. They have released one full length studio albums in the past and The Eagle is a single to come off of their upcoming new 2011 studio release album titled Sophmore. Now the youtube video below is a remix version of the original, but it is the only version available on youtube, and their videos are the most-postable (if thats a word) so that is what I have posted below. Song of the day for September 14th, 2010: "Atacama Disco" by The Salvadors
And the song is...Atacama Disco, by Australian indie-pop group the Salvadors. The Salvadors consist of first names only Tom ( vocals/guitar), Eddy (guitar), Jeff (bass guitar), Eugine (drums), and Cat (keyboards). I have posted another song of theirs on this blog before (called Rio) and am hoping to hear more and more from this group as everything so far has been quite good stuff from this group out of Adelaide, in South Australia. This song and a couple others are still available as free mp3 downloads at this Australian Radio website.
